What is there for visitors to do?

The site is an ideal base for touring the Cheshire Plain, Wirral, Snowdonia and the North Wales coast.  Also within easy reach are Beeston Castle, Delamere Forest, Chester Zoo, Cheshire Candle Factory, The Boat Museum at Ellesmere Port or visit the medieval city of Chester, the attractions are endless!

The Shropshire Union Canal, at the far end of this site, which by bike or on foot leads directly to Chester city centre (just under three miles away). It also provides fishing. 

The Site is close to Chester City Centre, a delightful walled city, where there are plenty of things to see and do.  Boat trips on the River Dee or the Shropshire Union Canal, visit the Cathedral, walk round the city walls, or in the park, or visit the old shopping streets on two levels called ‘The Rows’, unique in Europe.

  Rowton Hall Hotel, Rowton Lane, approximately 15 minutes, taking turning off A41.

There are also many more eating establishments within Chester City centre offering a wide variety of quality foods.
